Lobotomy Definition, Joseph Rosemary Kennedy Lobotomy

Rosemary Kennedy is a sister of former president John F Kennedy. She was born last September 13, 1918 by her parents Joseph Patrick Kennedy and Rose Elizabeth Kennedy. Rosemary Kennedy was the third child of the couple but she was their first daughter.


Rosemary Kennedy has one major problem in her, she had a bad temper and major mood swings which her family thought will be treated if Rosemary or Rosie will undergo lobotomy. The intentions were good but it resulted into disaster. Rosemary Kennedy became mentally incapacitated after her lobotomy procedure ultimately failed.


Rosemary Kennedy died of natural death last January 7, 2005 but it was lobotomy that changed her life forever. Lobotomy is now banned for medical practice because of this very dangerous side-effect.
