Senator Ted Kennedy Dead - Died - Death August 25 2009

A sad day for America. Senior US Senator, Edward Moore "Ted" Kennedy, died at the age of 77 after his long battle with cancer. Senator Ted Kennedy is a native from Massachusetts and is a member of the Democratic Party. He is part of the prominent political dynasty of the Kennedy Family. Ted is the youngest brother of President John F. Kennedy and Senator Robert F. Kennedy, who were both assassinated.

Just some facts about Senator Ted Kennedy. We would not recall the Chappaquiddick incident? On July 18, 1969, Ted Kennedy was driving a 1967 Oldsmobile Delmont 88 together with Mary Jo Kopechne. Ted then drove off Dike Bridge into the Poucha Pond inlet. His vehicle was overturned but he managed to escape, but Kopechne was not fortunate. Ted Kennedy was jailed for two months after he failed to notify authorities of the incident.

We offer our sincere and deepest condolences to Mrs. Virginia Joan Bennett-Kennedy, their three children: Kara Anne Kennedy, Edward Jr. Kennedy, and Congressman Patrick J. Kennedy. Our prayers and with Senator Ted's family, loved ones and friends.
